Although both were treated equally from Day One, after 2 years, the right fishtail exhaust pipe badly corroded. I sought a quotation and the mechanic upon inspecting the pipe, suggested a replacement for the central tube rather than a patch work because the metal had corroded beyond repair. The quotation: RM150. For comparison, a new fishtail pipe costs double at RM330 so I am going to go for the tube replacement. Later, I intend to have the pipes painted black as I am tired of polishing and maintaining them clean.
